Frequently Asked Questions
What’s the difference between Static and Dynamic QR?
Static: embeds the final URL; not trackable within the portal.
Dynamic: uses a short link like /qr/alias
that redirects to the target and records scan analytics.
My short link goes to the portal home, not my target.
Open Settings → Permalinks and click Save once to refresh rewrite rules. Also ensure the QR has a unique alias and a valid target.
How do I pause a QR or limit scans?
In your dashboard, use Pause/Start. You can also set a Scan limit and Start/End dates when creating/editing the QR.
Can I collect responses?
Yes — choose Q/A Form content type. Responses are saved as moderated comments and emailed to the QR owner/admin.
How do I add a Google Review QR?
Find your Place ID via Google’s Place ID Finder, copy it, and create a QR with content type Google Review (Place ID). Scanning opens the “Write a review” screen.
What image size should I use for printing?
Export at 1024×1024 PNG (or higher) for print, preferably at 300 DPI. If vector/PDF export is available, that’s ideal for large formats.
Is my data secure?
We use capability checks, nonce verification, and limited scan logs to protect your data. Use a strong password and keep your WordPress updated.
